General Real Estate Practice:
- Negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements and leases; draft conveyance instruments and easements; coordinate closings.
- Represent organizations in site selection, title clearance and site approval before local zoning authorities and state public utilities agency.
- Evaluate environmental due diligence.
Zoning and Land Use Practice:
- Prepare and present general zoning and land use cases to planning commissions, zoning appeal boards, and local legislative bodies.
- Litigate zoning appeals and claims, including claims under federal Telecommunications Act of 1996.
Community Planning:
- Interpret, administer, and craft legally binding zoning regulations for local jurisdictions.
- Review and advise on zoning, sign and home occupation permits, site plans, zoning map and text amendments, subdivision planning, and all elements of comprehensive planning.
- Organize and conduct boards of adjustment and zoning appeals meetings.
- Advise planning commissioners, board members, and elected officials on local zoning regulations and state enabling legislation.
